German IFO business conditions index deteriorates in September |

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) – Business conditions seem to continue deteriorating in Germany in September, compared to August, according to the latest report by the IFO institute for economic research.
Both, business conditions index as well as expectations have declined more than expected in September. Business confidence index has dropped almost two points to 92.9 in September, from 94.8 in August, when the market consensus was for a softer decline to 94.0.
Expectations index has dropped to 86.5 in September from 87.0 in August, against the experts forecasts for a slight increase to 87.3.
The business climate index has been deteriorating continuously for the last four months and the same applies for the expectations index.
